Fred Kim

Fred Kim, DPT, OCS

Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics

Fred Kim, DPT, OCS is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor's degree in Physiological Science. He attained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, the top-ranked physical therapy program. After 6 years of working in outpatient orthopedics, he became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. This certification formally recognized Fred as one of the elite physical therapists in the nation with advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills in orthopedic care. In addition to refining his own clinical decision making and hands-on techniques, he has mentored several physical therapy students from USC, Cal State Long Beach, and Chapman University.

Fred was first introduced to physical therapy as the result of a football-related hip injury in high school. After successfully recovering from the injury, he was intrigued about how the human body responds to injuries and its positive response to corrective treatment. This interest naturally led him to pursue a career in physical therapy so that he could use his own experience to help others going through their own rehabilitation.

Outside of physical therapy, Fred enjoys activities such as surfing, playing softball, and spending time with his family.
